Recievership is spun to the courts. No different than a chapter 7. And yes, warrants have a valid contract until the termination date which for the GSE's is several years out.

Yea, that would be just like them to put there trust and good faith in the TBTF again as they demonstrated that they had a handle on where the mortgage market was going. We will not be so lucky next time as it will be the last time. We were lucky to have the GSEs and a monetary system that prints money. Better keep those documents locked up as the truth will destroy us attitude is the best system.
