Nope! Not a beginner, started day trading during the dot com rally in the early 90s; but I never traded dot come stocks. Even then I was trading biotech stocks, but those were mostly small companies developing cancer therapies. I rode one of them from $2 to $23 a share. The *worst* performing biotech stock in my portfolio only doubled. You think I don't know how to recognize a winner? Then buy something safe like Aurora or Canopy that will likely double/triple in the next 12 months; but I'm in this for the big money. Riding a stock from 12 cents to $2, that's where my mind is at. Imho it's a mix of everything you wrote AND they had "more luck than judgement" AND I don't want to deny them their true intentions to get something up! Finally I know - an investor should not have sentiments … I know … but they have a little bit of my sympathy We all may reckon that a LP will buy these Artists … before we know where we are …
