"Wireless chip vendor Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) this afternoon reported fiscal Q3 revenue and profit that topped analysts’ expectations, and beat with its outlook for this quarter as well, though its shares sagged in late trading. Revenue in the three months ended in June rose to $900.8 million, yielding EPS of $1.57. Analysts had been modeling $891 million and $1.52 per share. For the current quarter, the company sees revenue of $980 million and EPS of $1.75, which is ahead of consensus for $973 million and $1.73. CFO Kris Sennesael attributed the outlook to "our design win momentum and new product pipeline, and said the company expects to deliver "further gross and operating margin expansion." ... "
