I think you would be better off sticking to the fundamental story on SPCL.

It is powerful and convincing.

Once you get off into the fantasy world of "manipulation" you lose a large portion of your potential audience - namely those who are not willing to wear a tin foil hat 24/7!

My (albeit unsolicited) word of advice is don't go there.
