Seeking Alpha has several genuine mREIT experts who are Certified Financial Analysts. Even so, these stocks are very difficult to predict since there is so much leverage. They also use arcane hedging techniques.
The main thing to note is ultra high yield stocks can disintegrate and very quickly. They pay a fat yield for a reason. Don't judge these by 2017, a good year. Judge them by how well the held up in 2008. Of course ORC has only a brief track record.
