I don't know much about this company but my first guess is that the barriers to entry for this business are not very high. If you have some engineering and marketing this is all doable stuff where very little has to be invented. Operating small remote power stations has been around for a while so the winners in this will be those with the right talent to bring it all together. The primary factors would be cost and reliability. No one will pay for stuff that doesn't work.

I wish I knew more about how the industry is accepting their offering. The most recent report shows serious growth so they seem to know what they are doing. But time will tell if this has legs for the long run. POLA is a new IPO recently.
