WE can establish with certainty that he's been audited EVERY year? Yes?

Yes. And since taxes are my line of work I can assure you audits do not go on ad nauseam. So at some point an audit year gets closed out and the IRS and the taxpayer come to an agreement that either is resolved in favor of the taxpayer or he is required to write a check.

Now surely since he is audited every year some tax years are now CLOSED!

This concept really isn't that hard to understand. Even for novices.

RN, I would say yes as I think they said Trump is involved with many companies which IMO triggers a automatic audit.

Actually, I have heard it mentioned MANY times that if Trump were under audit he could have provided the letter from the IRS informing him that he is being audited. He has never provided proof that he is being or has been audited.

So, it is NOT certain that he's been audited for any tax year prior to 2016. It IS certain that, by law, he will be audited EVERY year he is president. :-)
