That's my entire point danger....PTN has nothing to do with this initially, but by ignoring it and allowing it to continue, they are guilty by association. This has NOTHING to do with financing and to churn a security, is illegal and in violation of SEC rules, especially if orchestrated by MMs with inside information/share count inventory.
Even if nothing criminal is ongoing, it look bad, period.
