The wasps and yellow jacket are really bad here. They are up under the shingles and everywhere else in this building so spay wouldn't work. I've got a plan though.

HD has a wasp killer that shoots a spray about 20 feet.

Pick up extra's.
Those are great self defense items.
Give to your Wife to carry in car and have them around house.
That spray will disable someone enough when sprayed in eyes so Wife can run away or give you time if you with her to disable them.

Most any hardware/home store sells it. I used mine the other day for nests in eaves.
