It amazes me that the posters on this board are now forming a posse to fight Nok. Where were you guys when Nok stopped their financial involvement in W-TDD? Where you guys when Nok organized the OEM's in an effort to cap royalties? Where were you guys when Nok organized a group to block the entry of Microsoft? Where were you guys when I have posted that Nok is the number one anchor in the voyage of the the Good Ship 3g?
I will tell you where you were. You were stating that Nok is a great strategic partner. Well, it is a day late and a dollar short to start complaining about Nok now. Your voices will not be heard because you now have a bias and prejudice that defeats your credibility. You will be put in that can that says "sour grapes". In fact, if you mount a media launch against Nok, you will fuel a retaliation that does not help IDCC. These decisions should be made by IDCC and not this board. If IDCC believes it needs the help of the government, then it is in a greater position to get the ear of the folks that they just presented to last month in Washington, DC, than anyone on this board.
Look how silly some of you made the company look by feeding the media that Ericy could be stuck for a billion dollars and we settled for 34 bil. We need to let IDCC fight its own battles because we do not know enough facts to make an informed decision on the squabbles between Nok and IDCC. Contract fights are a dime a dozen right now because of the economy over the past 3 years. Let IDCC decide whether to use the media, the government or none at all. It is their fight and their decisions how to run the show.
I AM BACKING TEECEE ALL THE WAY ON THIS ISSUE. If you people want to stop this, then you have to cease posting on this site. This will be my last post until Teecee is reinstated. If I feel that I have something to say, I will use the RB site or Yahoo. This was a Mickey Mouse ruling and censorship on this level is silly. Teecee has toned it down considerably over the past 2 months and he is rewarded with being bumped for terminology that originated in the U.S. Senate. We are all big people and the people that are reporting tos violations are doing so for an agenda. Anyone who wishes to have a squeeky clean board can start their own site. The reality is investing is emotional and emotions sometimes lead to off color remarks. The argument for putting Once on ignore cuts both ways. If anyone is offended by off color remarks, they can also use the ignore feature. This is why it is available. We do not need a watchdog to make our use of the ignore feature for us. If the ignore feature was not available, then I can understand the need for jail. Free choice is an American attribute and a site that takes this away is not being reasonable.
