Let's start with...
I'm pleased to report that I stopped by my photo developer today and asked if it's possible to get a CD from print negatives.
Get them copied onto a floppy. I have all my current shots done that way along with regular prints. Floppy images are smaller than the ones on CDs... much easier to save as .jpg and either email or post. The CD images will probably print better but translate into gigantic bytes... If you want to email them to someone they will freeze more ancient systems and you have to scroll up and down and back and forth to see the whole shot. If you have "Front Page" software installed on your machine you can size the prints but it is hard to keep the proportions accurate.
You retired at my age... DAMN... You are good. I'm just starting the serious part of my money accumulation venture. I squandered my youth having a good time... was kind of hoping I'd die at 35 ;-)... didn't happen... oh well... next venture.
Snack food (with the martini)... This has to be perfect. Long story short... I am entertaining the mother of the man I lived with when I moved to the city. She is the quintessential Manhattanite. I doubt there are many who live and breathe that town the way she does. In the early days, we all spent many hours in the finest restaurants available in Manhattan. I want to entertain her with the rural version of the style she is accustomed to. I look forward to it. I thrive on being a good hostess for intimate parties.
Glad you got a break in the weather. Think I'd take breezeless and dry over steamy but that is a personal preference.
