The details of the off-topic dialog are irrelevant. What we need to hear from you is that you understand that the investment boards are not a venue for religious or other off-topic dialog, and will comply in the future.

If you believe that someone else is violating that restriction then by all means file a report. Engaging them in off-topic debate is not an acceptable option, particularly when it is religion or politics, topics which inevitably take on a life of their own.
