That's fascinting, Bob. You seem to have one foot in each of two different worlds -- high-tech and a back-to-the-earth lifestyle. I've always dreamed of living in a self-sufficient home. Have you read about the Earth Houses in the southwest? Totally self-sufficient in every way apparently (power, water, waste, etc.). I've always been stuck living in the city, but as a daytrader, I now have the option to live anywhere, and those Earth Houses are tempting. . .
