Global has a nice promotional ring to it. Convinces some investors they will be a global company when they likely will not be. Lovely name to promote. "Global" as in worldwide. I just flew on a 767 and I hope they replace the seats on the ones they are getting because those seats were not comfortable on a three hour flight, never mind an 8 hour flight.

I know a good name and if they ever fly they can make bank on it.

There was a Canadian Airline that was at first name Canadian International Airways (CIA) and then they figured they did not want that on their planes so they switched to CAI.
