#223 RE: seek the light #222

Sorry for the delay... I usually post on the private forum at www.micromem-forum.com and did not see your message here at Investorshub.

Supposedly Micromem has several significant deals going for the "wear materials" project with Castrol Innoventures for the SIBS technology. The rumor is that the first production units would become available in June, 2017, but who really knows the truth? It may be more like December. But it is supposed to occur this year.

Micromem's "Interwell Tracer" (AROMA) technology has passed the tests required by Chevron, and Micromem, Chevron, and several other participants in the project have met to discuss future orders. This would be the manufacture and installation of production units. The original deal was supposed to be for 500 to 2,000 units. Micromem's portion of the revenue for each $105,000 unit was supposed to be $17,000 but it was never clear if Micromem pays Entanglement Technologies out of that amount for the AROMA component or if Entanglement gets paid separately. Joe Fuda has stated there are 200,000 oil wells in the world that could utilize the "interwell tracer" technology.

I do not know the status of the Cement Integrity devices. Chevron is interested but the units have to remain buried in concrete for several years to determine if they will continue to function. The first units were put into barrels of concrete in 2012 or 2013, but that may have been an earlier design. The rumor was that Micromem-MAST is using very low-cost printed circuits for their sensor platforms for this project, since the quantity of the devices would be in the billions. (The sensor units are mixed in with the concrete that surround the well's piping).

As for the Flextronics (oil pan oil level sensor) project, the word was the original production units being tested in 40 degree below zero temperatures failed when the adhesive used by Flextronics failed at those temperatures. Although Flextronics switched to a different adhesive, ALL of the tests had to be redone to ensure nothing else changed and Flextronics missed the window to get the units into the 2017 production run for Cadillac. Supposedly they are ready for the 2018 model year. (Note-- Micromem is not involved with the project. They are just waiting for the units to be manufactured by Flextronics and delivered to the automobile companies so the royalty payments begin to flow).
