Are you suggesting people flip for free shares? If so, it defeats the whole point art35 was trying to make. The only way to defeat the MMS is to HOLD (or buy more). As soon as people start selling, even if it's to grab more shares lower, the MM games start until they've shaken the price down 60% or more as we saw this week. Sure, some people will be able to add to their positions, but there's a price: many that get shaken take a loss and won't buy back. Others lose confidence in the stock and won't buy. So while flipping may seem like a good idea, it really helps MMs shake the tree, which then either leads to a longer price recovery if you're lucky enough to be in a good stock like DOLV... or the price may never recover because people become afraid to touch the stock. So by flipping, you can potentially have more shares (if you time it well) that stall or retract in price, or you can HOLD, make the MMs do the scrambling, and watch the price soar. That's my take on what art35 was trying to say. He can correct me if I'm misunderstanding.
