IF results are convincing, I think the key piece of evidence was getting the FDA to allow for amending the trial last summer in a time frame where the first round of patients had finished their 12 weeks. I can't help but wonder what the FDA saw from the study/control board that allowed for them to push this trial forward and get it done within a year. Confirmation bias, maybe as kld2 would say, but I still wonder.
