No major retailer will bring plus CBD to market while it's still schedule 1. I'm sure CV has pitched them and others but can't get through just yet. Not even sure they have scale to produce at that demand just yet.
well i have no inside sources or anything but i guarantee there has been discussions with whole foods along with others. cv has already picked up some chains but yes much smaller than whole foods. cv made a good splash at expo west and had a very well attended talk and whole foods wrote a couple articles and mentioned cv than industry overall in their online blog or something. the market is primed and i really dont see how you put this cannabinoid industry back in the bottle. the federal govt has to address this at some point. you can go find them whole foods articles im sure. so ya i would agree some federal stuff needs to clear up but cv is very well positioned imo to get whole foods or related. these guys clearly know how to sell and market themselves. and more importantly they are establishing trust with the market.
