The point of my post was that it seems it can go either way. Even if a person has years of experience (which Ted Burge and Robert New probably have), it's possible to present a convincing argument in favor of QQQQ going higher (Burge) or going lower (New). Their charts in your link below provide examples of that.

I know I'm going to make money today, however, no matter which way it goes ... because I'm in money markets at the moment (grin). Schwab is currently paying 4.7% interest on cash positions.

Kenwong: Backtest 38.75 triangle breakout successful?

Do you think the Q's successfully back tested the breakout area around 38.75 today? Referring to chart in your original posting:
