I've sold my CSGH's and DEER's a long time ago, when they were worthless. They are more worthless today. I sold my ABAT, ZA, NUIN and a few others when there was still value (Actually I sold CCCL every time at the right time) otherwise I would be broke today.
SIAF went from $3 to $17 in the past and made up for all my losses elsewhere. And I think it will happen again.
HERB is a big outsider. Risky, but huge potential.
CCCL, the toxic dumpage only lasted 4 days. They have enough money to survive for another year. 3% of book. Something good should come out of this eventually (with $107M in receivables). I repurchased some shares today.
So, it's not a problem to own 2 or 3 IMO. But you have to get rid of the crap that will go nowhere. IMO. In fact, if you think about it, you should only be invested in special situations. SIAF has the spin-offs, HERB may go private, and CCCL has the future dividends. And then we still need a bit of luck.
