SC, Yes, when you look at what passes for entertainment these days, it's pretty disgusting. I'm getting ready to go back into hibernate mode and forget about the sad state of the world.

I remember as a kid my friend's older sister had the Beatles White album and I thought, man these guys have retreated back into their infantile childhoods or something. That was one of the craziest years ever (1968), and eventually people just tune out the world as an escape mechanism. That's how things are getting now.

You have to have something noble and pure to hold on to, and if it isn't there you have go back to things like classical music and art, or go out into nature and see the beauty and perfection. When it comes to humans and society, you can have it, it really seems like a lost cause these days. It's not going to change either since people are such idiots.
