Doty Scott provides valuations services for client companies and has no responsibility in the direction those companies move and their subsequent successes or failures. It's silly to try and draw any correlation between the success or failure of any of Doty Scott's clients and the valuation services that Doty Scott provides. It also seems self-serving to name the 1 or 2 instances in which a Doty client found themselves on the wrong side of the SEC or DOJ without also listing the far greater number that have not. Can you provide any evidence that Doty Scott or any of its agents or representatives was complicit? What you are suggesting is akin to someone appraising the value on an item, let's say an automobile in this example, and the the owner of the automobile causes injury with that vehicle at some point in time following the appraisal. Following your logic, the appraiser is culpable in the injury caused by the vehicle. This is a ridiculous suggestion.
