It doesn't wipe out investors. You're right, it just raises the price with less shares the investor owns. The value stays the same. Some stocks run big post r/s, but I hope we don't see one.

I see no reason for this company to RS. However, an RS is the easy way for a company to re-gain control over their share structure. Rest assured, if the company does an RS you will lose 99% of your money. I challenge anyone to show me different. Again, their does not appear to be a reason for the company to RS. But I wouldn't bet the house against it.
