I have reviewed posts from 185 forward. I honestly don't know if I was even here as a Mod when posts prior were removed. In fact, prior to July of this year, I only had one post on this particular board.
Further, the five posts (186, 189, 231, 236, 265) which were removed were all for personal attacks towards other people. Had only the factual information within those posts been written, the posts would have remained, without question.
I am all for open discussion, both positive and negative. Without both, this board is essentially meaningless.
I do not believe that I have been allowing any posts on this board that didn't belong.
Further, discussion of other boards' actions, other posters on other boards, or posters on this board who may post on other boards, is irrelevant to the discussion here, and is harassing those posters, and attacking them, which is a violation, and I will indeed remove those posts.
I disagree with your assessment of my actions as a moderator.
As for my position, there is no rule on this board requiring any mod or poster to disclose their private holdings, and I will not as well. I am the moderator because there wasn't a moderator at the time, and I contacted the administrators and asked if they would like me to moderate. They agreed, and here I am. I have done research on the company via all of the filings. I have attempted to reach the executives of the company, as well as the IR staff. But there is no requirement either that any of us who moderate a board be experts. We are here to summarize the company (as in the iBox), and to make sure that discussion of the stock goes on in a civil manner. In all the posts I've been here for as a moderator, I have only removed 5, and only 2 others it appears have been removed as well prior to my being here.
Message boards are a forum to discuss the company. Great investors can be adept at knowing a stock without the same knowledge as others, and knowledgeable investors who do lots of research can struggle, too. I have made a wholehearted attempt to place as much information in the iBox as we get, and will continue to do so.
I respectfully request that the conversation on this board return to the subject at hand, which is ETLC and the filing that is expected in the next week. Hopefully it will come out so we can discuss the information contained therein.
