I use to have the same feeling about this product. I am not too keen on Mr. Elio though. He keeps a large salary, $250,000 a year and I only get excuses from him.
You're right on all points and the big three will see sales plummet even more, if the Elio fails. There isn't an affordable B3 vehicle for struggling folks to start off with. The used car market is rotten with worn out junk and full of buy here- pay here shylocking. If Paul Elio goes low energy where he can be blamed for it's failure, there a conga-line of investors waiting to kneecap him.
