Oh yeah, thanks for the tip. I forgot that if a stock had 99% buys at the ask, and people were bid sitting, that the price would still go up. What happened to the bid sitters? Oh yeah, nothing. They missed out. In a case like this, where the spread is wide, BUT 99% of the buys are at the ask, then the bid means NOTHING. Smart money slapped the ask because they knew the bid would get them nowhere as the price increased.
