Paul, you are listing advancements in non-volatile memory (i.e. flash, etc). Previously, we were talking about advancements that would cause people to demand much more than 4GB of memory on their system. Flash chips may be getting larger and cheaper, but DRAM is going to be the only thing that can offer adequate size and performance at an inexpensive price. Non-volatile memory advances, if anything, will lead to solid-state storage mediums, not larger physical address spaces.
