It does but apart from IoT. All devices will be one in IoT. Similar to how apple products sync with one another(But with much more flexibility and functionality possibilities), but across all devices no matter the manufacture as long as the software and drivers are in place.

Gastric, that is a good point, vehicle tracking does exist today. However, if you are sitting in a meeting in a large building, try contacting that vehicle with present technology without going to another location for coverage. During 911, police and emergency responders could not communicate with people in the twin towers. This same problem exists today for nearly every large building. Read my post again, I did not say vehicle tracking does not exist. The advantage of 5G together with distributed antenna systems is that you could track your entire fleet from anywhere, and at any time and on any mobile device. Instant communication with everything is the promise of 5G in conjunction with other technologies such as DAS. To be precise, full 5G capabilities will likely be available for large cities long before rural areas, but one never knows.

Today, some airlines are putting DAS on individual airplanes to extend coverage across the country and one day around the world. Thousands of planes flying nearly everywhere may provide the coverage needed for everyone. The future looks to be very connected.
