While some find a well-administered occasional enema somewhat "adventurous" and maybe a little "thrilling", (as well as part of good, old-school hygiene) 42 daily is rather challenging for anyone, especially someone with a severe condition at that end. Now, endoscopies are an entirely different matter entirely and a complete pain in the ass, literally and figuratively. I can understand why someone would endure 42 retention enemas and then refuse that final "intrusion."
