That is certainly possible. Someone seeing the potential being more proven on the brinks may want to take a large chunk. Though, I think we'll see more of a bio firm that can provide more of a research combination base along with the funding to move forward.
My take is that while the science is moving forward nicely, larger pharmas are more interested in moving forward with individual lines (treatment path therapies) rather than a platform though I could see them keeping the door pretty wide open. And with the possible milestones to trigger even more appetizing offers. That certainly doesn't leave out the big fish institutional investor.
