the science side is good... the mgmt side is not... the share price will not increase to its optimal level (one where the influence of red flags prevents participants from entering arena) until the issues that prevent the potential participants are removed... issues related to the BOD...
mgmt has the keys to unlocking this problem...
unfortunately mgmt's best economic alternative is to take the enormous fees and get more and more lottery tickets paid for by the shareholders... if you are on that team, why would you want change?

Sounds to me like if a BP does not bend, and make a nice offer...then what stops Sean Parker from making Peregrine Pharmaceuticals/ PS Targeting the cornerstone molecule / patent for them to build upon..

BP's do not decide collectively. Only one has to decide that Bavi will be a competitive advantage. Dr. Wolchok might just be the one that convinces the crowd.
