Very true, but that is what happens to companies when the industry is dry. GE does appear to have zero sympathy for shareholders, which should be taken very seriously, but that does not mean there is no money to be made here.
There is No Question at all that GE Has $TOLEN all the Money in the form of Equity Value from DRYS Shareholders who held significant Long Positions prior to the 8-1 R/S... In Fact there are some here who have suffered much BIGGER Losses as they went thru multiple R/Ss and saw their Equity Investment Value Decimated... My condolences to them...
As for me, luckily I came in just as the 8-1 R/S was hatched and have been able to buy down at lower prices and bring down my Cost basis but even then I am still under water and hope the PPS will go back to $3.00 range so that I can end up positive... I certainly did not see getting 'Blind-sided" by the $2BB "Shelf" Filing which pulled down the PPS from $1.8 all the way down to $1.4 now.. I was hoping we were in "Safe Seas" when we went up to $1.80s...
