Nothing wrong with your logic. I introduced QMC to my father-in-law years ago. He took the info to an investor friend of his and he was told it was too risky and to wait until sales. He could make a less risky investment at that point and make a good return, but not a landfall return.

Turn out he bought 160,000 shares anyway.

Everyone has different risk tolerance and has to invest with that tolerance.
