Saw Boston around 1976. Almost better than the concert itself was they parked the chartered Vickers Viscount airplane at our A&P school and the band walked right through the hangar where we were having classes.

The reason they were there was something was wrong with the plane and the charter company wanted the school to fix it for free (which was legal, and we could do). The band probably never even knew that, it was the flea bag charter company that was arranging it.

Half-ass aircraft charter companies probably killed more musicians in the 50s, 60s, and 70s than drugs ever did.

At least (like Country Dick Montana) he seems to have died with his sticks in his hand.
