Agreed, not sure how anyone could think any differently...short sell 100 shares pre RS, buy back 25 shares post split. I am relatively new to the game here, but this seems like a pretty basic principle to me. GLTA

Unless they are naked. Naked shares will not get split. They will have to be covered. A r/s would absolutely expose any naked short shares if they exist.
