Oh Cap: You are truly a saint.
Where would those poor common folks be without you here to save them. They no doubt would be living in a van down by the river if it wasn't for your wonderful soul stopping by to save their ignorant souls.

The reality is no one knows exactly what will happen... not suggesting your wrong, but I am not selling based on predictions... we all have to make educated guesses based on current facts, our individual understanding of those in the power to restore or destroy. But thanks for the heads up...

If the common drops precipitously low due to some event you can bet your bottom dollar (pardon the pun) the share will be scooped up and those holding those lows will in at bargain basement prices as the shares will have no place else to go but up. On the other hand the preferred my not share in the ride. Hey, but what do I know. I am no where close to an expert and say know your pain but hold some cash to catch the ride.

While I agree the commons are very risky (which I bought at $6 just two days before cship), their ultimate value will be a combination of not just the NWS and DTAs, but also court rulings, the 11K discovery docs, many complex political factors and the need to ultimately attract some amount of private capital for a recap. Yes, traders may get burned in the short run, but others like myself have a different horizon and risk/benefit expectations. cheers, shadow
