#3547 RE: PhoenixwingzZ #3546

I also happen to play videogames heavily for the last 15 years of my life and I can easily see if I like the game after a trailer or some YouTube footage. Honestly, choosing games have never been easier in our age of Internet. I don't have any problems with Origin or EA in general. People give them a lot of shit, but my experience with them was nothing but great. Today they gave me a full refund of a game that I played for 51 HOURS already. It was Dragon Age: Inquisition Game of the Year Edition. And I'm sure as hell gonna buy new Mass Effect: Andromeda as well with that awesome customer experience. Because I always know that even if I don't like it, I can ALWAYS get my money back.

As for Microsoft, I don't believe their Origin-like service will succeed for one simple reason: most of games in Microsoft Store are crap. There are some decent one like Gears of War 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider or Quantum Break, but it's still not worth paying for every month. Maybe just pay for one month to play them all and then unsubscribe, but it doesn't work for me. I like to own things, not rent them.

With that said, I'm long Microsoft, but not for gaming reasons. I think Nadella is the best thing that has happened to this stock in years. I'm also long ATVI and EA because gaming is getting bigger every year.
