If any negotiations are going on I doubt we have to wait till CX results. Partner can get a pretty good idea with some early to mid progress into the CX trail. Plus GALT would be out of cash by year end, so they need something sooner.
Doing the raise they did earlier this year suggested they expect to generate enough just to cover the year which gives them some breathing room to sign a deal along the way.
Hitting the biotech conferences and investors conferences will certainly generate interests on top of their data release. It might take few months of negotiation after the conference events, so we could potentially see some type of deal this Summer. Hopefully a nice one that will solve their cash issues.
Buyout would be likely too if a player wants exclusive rights and denied competition access to GR-MD-02. We will have to see what happens.
