Pretty much where I thought they were then as I indicated in another post. It's going to take awhile for partners /customers to receive their test samples ,test it, choose an application etc. I think 2018 will be the year that makes us very very happy but I think there will be enough good news this year to keep us happy as well. Namely I expect Vietnam to happen this year. If it doesn't , I'll be very disappointed.

I have mentioned to Ben that I will be sharing his response

A majority of Ben's emails are written a certain way, as he is aware they might be placed in the public domain.

Now this:

1. Develop cutting edge fibers
2. Create buzz about cutting edge fibers
3. Receive requests for cutting edge fibers
4. Proof of production concept
5. Deliver cutting edge fibers to potential commercialization partners
6. Allow potential commercialization partners to test fibers
7. Open mass production facility
8. Allow potential commercialization partners to begin to develop potential products
9. Reach mass production of fibers
10. Sign/announce commercialization agreement

Is how either a Nike or Under Armor handles their business; with the bigger picture always in their sites.

Thanks for sharing golferman....

Deeply appreciated.

Blessings to All

WHATEVER!

A couple weeks ago with out ever having seen this list I asked him on the phone if step 10. could possibly come before step 7. and he said yes. He also said that he expected it the very week that I called.

Trying to formulate any kind of timeline using anything coming out of IR will only cause frustration.

I'm either going down with the ship or sailing off into the sunset. If I run into you on the beach in Mexico I'll buy you a Margarita.

Thanks for sharing.

2. Create buzz about cutting edge fibers

A lot left to be desired on this front, IMO. Too much done in spurts, nothing to maintain excitement.

Missed some of Ben's email. When trying to copy and past with my phone. ( or maybe to many Cerveza's on the beach)

Please understand that the Texas initiative isn’t about the first few commercialization agreements, but, as I would describe the landscape, it’s about speeding up potential agreements down the road, because I believe that it will enable Kraig Labs to exponentially increase its ability to fulfill fiber requests, and, by reducing feedstock costs, support an increase in the development of future fibers and production colonies.

Ben

According to the news letters Kraig has been working on securing a contract with a well known end manufacture since 2015…… Should we not be hearing of the finalization of these contracts ( other then the present military contract ). These talk have been going on for a long time they should be finalized by now and PR’d to the share holders.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Hi xxxxxxx,

Please forgive me, but I’m going to do a cut and paste of a portion of a recent response to another shareholder, because I think that it also addresses your question.

Anyhow, I think that there’s been a disconnect between how we, as shareholders, expected events to unfold, based on the Company comments that you highlighted, and how events are actually unfolding. The way I’m now understanding the process, I think that the following 10 steps, although far from exact, loosely summarizes the stages.

1. Develop cutting edge fibers
2. Create buzz about cutting edge fibers
3. Receive requests for cutting edge fibers
4. Proof of production concept
5. Deliver cutting edge fibers to potential commercialization partners
6. Allow potential commercialization partners to test fibers
7. Open mass production facility
8. Allow potential commercialization partners to begin to develop potential products
9. Reach mass production of fibers
10. Sign/announce commercialization agreement

Keep in mind that most of these steps will be ongoing, but, in my opinion, Kraig satisfactorily cleared hurdles 1-4.

In many ways, step 5 is the linchpin to unleashing Kraig’s commercialization and future fiber commercialization potential. Although the Company has delivered fibers to some of the potential commercialization partners, there are far too many requests that have yet to be fulfilled.

Based on the fact that Kraig stands alone in reporting technical performance properties, I’m going on the assumption that the fiber requests are from companies that want the fibers for specific reasons and those companies anticipate that the fibers will be used for particular applications, many of which are quite sexy. In fact, just last week, I was contacted by a representative of an NYSE listed company, at least that’s what his e-mail indicated, who requested fibers and I’m excited about the thought that later this year Kraig should be able to quickly fulfill these requests and see where these potential breakthroughs take Kraig Labs.

Kraig is now knocking on 7’s door and, as I stated, based on the Company’s published data, I think that the experts will figure out step 8, which, for many commercialization partners, will be part of their ongoing process. So, step 7 should be the last key hurdle to expecting the commercialization agreement announcements.

I hope that you noticed how management commented on some old items, in the recent Spider Sense edition, which filled in a lot of unknowns and helped many shareholders understand certain successes and processes, so I’ll ask management to do more of the same, as I think that it should go a long way in getting more people to understand the importance of the Xs and Os that are in the Company’s game plan.

Best regards,

Ben Hansel
