He plans on doing away with external reviews for new drugs (keeping them in house) and continuing to speed up the drug approval process. I agree with both of these moves. The latter will definitely help Elite and my speculation is that the former will as well. We shall see. Gottlieb may have deep ties to BP but Trump has publicly stated he plans on getting more abuse deterrent drugs to market.
