#209762 RE: WorstLuck #209761

(RVNC)—I don't have any hard data on the frequency of neutralizing antibodies to Botox/Xeomin/Dysport, but I know it's a significant problem for cervical dystonia patients, who receive hundreds of units of toxin every three months or so.

The fix is to switch brands; this usually works because it's the formulation excipients in Botox/Xeomin/Dysport (rather than the minuscule amount of botulinum toxin) that triggers the patient's immune-system reaction.

Neutralizing antibodies to other brands of botulinum toxin will help RVNC's RT002 indirectly, even if this is not part of RVNC's marketing message, by reducing the number of candidates for the other brands.
