Very interesting info! Thanks Eska!

Strip the walls in the house and it makes a nice place to put the worms! I guess it can be transformed any ways possible!

First Eskaminagaga,

I really appreciate the information you have provided. This location isn't as close to the Rio Grande Valley as I had thought it would be but it's still in the south central portion of Texas and a fairly warm climate. I may know someone that lives very close to that location and I have a text in to him now.
The thing that I'm really impressed with is the fact that KIM went to the expense and trouble to purchase this land instead of leasing it from someone else. This gives him control of those trees as long as he wishes . A very big plus!!
Thanks again!!

Eska - Thanx for sharing your deep dd on this board. It's a refreshing change from all the whining, complaining and second guessing.

KT made a real personal commitment to this rural TX mulberry facility which speaks loudly of where KBLB and KT's business plan for DS is prepared to go in 2017 and beyond.

This domestic TX facility should meet all of the requirements of the Berry Act for production of DS fiber/yarn and fabric for the Army contract. If only a domestic US based reeling facility were available for 100% domestic mfg. content of DS. The Army will grant a waiver on the reeling content of the DS supply chain. KT wouldn't have purchased it for any other reason - IMO.

On a macro basis, developing a robust supply chain and proof of consistent high quality metric tonnage production are the two most important criteria for either a JV or buyout of KBLB - IMO.

Stay tuned for major announcements in Q1 & Q2 2017.

Best regards - yankee

I was just wondering who is minding the farm.
I would think Kim and Jon would be too unreliable to be there all the time.
Is this person a new hire or is someone "house sitting".
