Oh Brother, your handle is a little disgusting to someone who used to pull ticks swollen blue and crushing them as a pesticide measure. They squirt blue all over the damn place.

Just saying, you may want to choose your avatar name a bit better. That said, our Flying Dutchman, Rodekroit, ROCKET, asked the primary question submitted to our gold sluice on StoneyBrook.

Rodekroet and Cheekie are the subject matter experts here. Your citation is getting into how much it will cost to have the PROCESSING SYSTEM to handle a neuron sensory based computer.

And damned if I know.

Turning your question on Rocket's question with Cheekie's enthusiasm over to them. Me, I'm just the traffic director here. Hoping we can be masters of sensory processing, macro neological all sorts of shit and then some.

Hi Bluetick...I think DNA computing is definitely an area APDN might/will contribute to someday, but as the article you shared says, like others on the subject, it has a long way to go still.
For more short-term applications of DNA computing one should focus on diagnostics and medicine delivery, which also uses dnacomputing/programming...
This recent study for example shows how:
Antibody-controlled actuation of DNA-based molecular circuits

Here's an English article on it: link

These kind of developments and applications will be the drivers for the diagnostic/vaccin/gene therapeutic market of Applied DNA Sciences.
