I don't pay for stock trades now (outside of sec fee). Only pay for options but not much. Frankly, costs will keep going down from competition amongst the big 5. Their biz model is shifting and they are taking down their rev estimates from these fees. I expect them to charge more for the platform rather than the trades in the future but just my opinion.
