You're right to be upset with PTN stock performance.

Over the past 6 years, PTN has traded almost exclusively in a range of $.40-.60 and recently has hit all time time lows below $.36. Their current agreement with AMAG is, I believe, their last chance to get their leading product to market. Will it be approved? Will it be a successful product? Those are the key questions which will drive the future stock price either up or down. I don't know the answers to those questions, but I am willing to give them a chance, at least for the next 7-9 months.
