i am a big trump fan but i feel like taking credit for the stock market rally is a huge mistake, he honestly should be more cautious about this. Seems like a trap to me that he fell into.

As for raising the rates, I dunno, the last 2 years i knew there was no chance that they would raise until the end of the year, but this year the market is invincible ( seemingly ) and everytime rate odds go up the market goes right up with it. So they might just do it... and if they dont they will could always do their jawboning "guarantee" they will next time, crashing gold and raising the usd
