Jp2011, I think Jeff got it right in assuming it is a shake to trigger stop losses making more shares available. There is also a potential battle between the Sr Note Holders wanting to convert when the price is lower giving them more shares vs the hedge that ANI Pharmaceuticals took out as insurance to prevent dilution when the Sr Note holders decide to convert.

Just two possibilities.
