Cali I think you are correct. They wouldn't have named any company they were actually in discussions with.

I would say the three names mentioned are three companies you can take off the partner list.

If they were talking to them they certainly wouldn't have mentioned them. He provided the names as examples of big pharmaceutical companies.

A few years back, at a Q&A session of a conference call the CEO spoke about possible partnerships for their product and mentioned Bristol Meyers, Merck and Roche... fast forward a while later and the first they partnered with was... Bristol Meyers... followed by announced partnerships with Merck and Roche... so much for that.

Pfizer by the way inherited Remoxy from The buyout of King but gave it up since they already had an opiod product. ???

I remember this different... If I recall... Pfizer bought King PRIMARILY to get Remoxy... then spent over $100 million trying to develop it... failed at the FDA twice... were within months of another FDA application shot and decided to drop it instead... Pain Thera? followed through with the FDA application and Remoxy failed a third time.
