There is no evidence that e.Digital has filed a patent application for "Write Behind" technology. It is not mentioned in any of the SEC filings and not on the USPTO site.

From the USPTO web site:

l. What do the terms "patent pending" and "patent applied for" mean?

They are used by a manufacturer or seller of an article to inform the public that an application for patent on that article is on file in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The law imposes a fine on those who use these terms falsely to deceive the public.

So what is the application number? No number, no patent pending for e.Digital.

Furthermore, if there is no patent application by e.Digital or another party e.Digital could be fined for inappropriately using the term.

Don't you think that e.Digital and those making all of these claims about "Write behind" should produce the patent application number?
