If Dimension is now holding an order for 6000 dollars that they are free to enforce such that it's now a debt collection issue, I'd agree that this would be stupid. It would be a silly end result if Tmmi was forced in to bankruptcy over such a small sum.

Are you sure your friend has that right? There's nothing on the public court record showing a default.
